Join the Fight to Abolish Slavery in Louisiana

There are no moral justifications for enslavement: there can be no exceptions to its abolition.  Yet, legalized slavery persists in Louisiana both in word, in the state’s constitution, and in deed, through the forced labor of thousands of people - disproportionately Black - who are warehoused in its prisons.

View our open letter to learn more about slavery in our state and join the movement to end forced labor - for good.
